Q. Is it safe to take a cast of my baby’s hands and feet?
A. Yes, Cast In Time use only the safest top quality impression material which is non-toxic, non allergenic and does not harm the enviroment.
Q.What age can you you cast from?
A. The youngest was 2 days old and the oldest was 94 years old.
Q. When is the best time to take a mould of my baby’s hand or foot?
A. We recommend when little one is most relaxed i.e. determining your little ones moods – content, after a feed ect, newborns are most likley to sleep through a casting session.
Q. How do I go about having a cast / sculpture made of my baby’s hands or feet?
A. By making an appointment Online, via telephone or visiting us in-store.
Q. How long will my sculpture take to be completed?
A. Depending on the amount of work i.e corrections, remoulds and amount ordered this can take 5-6 weeks for stone and 8-10 weeks for solid bronze/silver etc. ( for special service this can be fast-tracked)
Q. I have had a sculpture made some years ago and wish to have my new born cast as well. Can you match them both together?
A. No problems as long as you bring the other piece with you. We can match them up, rearrange your sculptures, change the backings, frames and colours.
